I am 29 surgeries into life with more on the way.

I have had five separate fusions on the same segment of my spine (L5-S1) and as a result have adhesive arachnoiditis ( https://www.ninds.nih.gov/health-information/disorders/arachnoiditis ) which is scar tissue that has glued itself to multiple segments of my spinal cord; no treatment, no cure. My right knee has been replaced twice. It hurts to sit, stand, walk, even lay down, but I’ll be damned if I’m doing nothing.
